Has anyone ever tried to do this with our tl's? could probably make it look a little better, but this is to get the idea



I think it would look pretty cool to have a shift boot over the automatic shifter, its the cheapest way to go manual ha ha ,

I wanna get an opinion first before I give it a shot

What do you guys think?

i did that to my old accord back in like '99 and had it for a few months.. got to the point where it just seemed retarded so i took it off..

I have a 99... mines more of like a polished aluminum... *scratches head* maybe its just really messed up and I just never noticed lol

 

Take some paint stripper to that thing and there's chrome underneath.. only on the 99s.

It works, just be careful when taking the paint off not to scratch the chrome when it starts showing.

 

IMO, not feeling it, we have luxary cars...and dont really need to put a shiftboot, thats so was my teen days...... Why bother wasting your time trying to fool people, thats like a ricer.....NO?
