Is this happening to anyone else?

I searched for this issue but I'm not even sure what to call it, so I'm not getting good results. (There are 495 threads with "door" in the title.) I know I can't be the only one it's happening to. Both of my rear doors have this problem :

The bottom edge of it is actually completely unglued, too, I just mushed it into place so it wouldn't flop around.

it happened to mine too, that seal doesnt have much surface area contact with thr back of the chrome trim,so it's easy for it to come unglued. you can try using clear silicon to put it back in. It'd be easier to do with that chrome corner trim off,it's just a push clip that holds it in.If you try pulling it off,I'd be REALLY careful, the clips almost always break and it's easy to to bend the trim piece.

yep! it's happened to my car
back driver side..

if you don't know what to do to put it back in place, get some super-77 (3M made) it's spray glue, it should fix it because it's workable...spray some on (make sure you cover surfaces) and jam it back in. wipe any excess and let it set

It seems like mine is beyond repairing in this way. Looks like parts have ripped or torn.

What it is supposed to be glued to? Before it was held in place by clips, but the holes in the rubber piece have been torn, I think. I hesitate to glue it to the pillar behind it because, well, gluing rubber to painted metal doesn't seem right.

Has anyone switched them out? I'd consider replacing if it the parts weren't too expensive and I could do it myself.

haha it's glued to the inside. true it was clipped before but then again it requires disassembling the door trim and door panel and it seems like a lot of work to have it in place exactly. it's a piece of rubber and it deadens sound and whatnot. if you put it back in place and then glue the bottom (hooked) portion into it. it shouldn't ever move again and you'll never notice that it was glued

I did it to mine, and I'm going to have to do it again...to the other door panel :-(

Happened to mine too. Use just a little of clear sillicon at the corner and push it back in. You don't want it permanently glued in case it needs to be taken apart for other repairs.
