Angry H.I.D Help!

Im not sure if this the correct thread to write this on,or if theres a thread for this.SORRY new to this.

Well i drive a 99 TL and i want to replace my H.I.D's for a different color since my OEM H.I.D's are not so bright. Not sure if I would have to buy the whole H.I.D Kit or could i just change the bulbs to a diff color and it works fine??

THANKS!

no, your car comes with stock bulbs and ballast, so that means you just need to change the bulbs.

Just buy Bulb Replacements in Ebay, Your car Already have the Igniter and Ballast.

Type in Ebay: "D2R Bulb 5000K" or max 6000K

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve with the swap. If you want more road visibility, get Philips 4300k bulbs. If you want to look more stylish, you would want a higher temp. bulb.

I got my bulbs from HIDextra who is a vendor on here and I was very happy with my bulbs. I had 6k, which illuminated a bright white light with a blueish hue. Also, that is the highest temp that you would want to go if you still want road visibility. I still think 8k looks the best, but it is too blue for some people.
