gutter guard grill

For those of you who put the gutter guard grill on. I was wondering if you put anything behind it to hide the stock black plastic grill. I put the gutter guard on but I don't think that it looks good to be able to see the old grill behind the gutter guard. please let me know if you guys did anything to hide it. thanks

well i just did this lst night on my 97, and boy does it make my champagne TL go from Pany to "MENACING" it looks sweet..........i did not put anything behind it, i just folded the guard really neatly after many cuts on y fingers................

97slammedTL: I too have a 97 2.5 TL just wondering how you fastened the gutter guard to the grille. I'm still not sure how to approach this exactly cause i don't want to see twisty ties everywhere. Thanks
