Angry Guage lights, LEDs

Just 30 minutes ago my 99TLs D4 light blew out in the dash. Considering the fact that the lights by the shifter knob are not working, I have no way to tell that I am in D4 without switching to N or D3...Anyway, other lights that went out in recent times include the Clock and Cruise button light.

I have 98k on this car. Still have extended warranty but I think dealers are hesitant to do any "little" work on it.

I don't mind do it myself (intermediate DIYer)...Are these easy to replace? If so Pics and directions please. These stupid lights are stupid but they are irritating as heck when you don't have them at night...

thanks.

No, use the warranty. The dealer can't tell you that it's too small of a job.

Since you're gonna take the dash apart, do a whole cluster LED replacement. Click here to jump to the thread
