Question Grill mods to TL S

I graduated college last June and have started saving for a car last month. I should have enough loot for a good down payment and be ready to buy around August. A friend of mine at work put me on to this site, and after looking at all the posts and pics...it's obvious what car I'm going to get. My only issue with the TL S is the grill. But I think that shit would look hot if you put a mesh grill in there. But on the close up pics of the grill, it looks like they did 2002 different. Looks like the grill might have to be taken out and a new one molded. That might be more trouble and expensive than it's worth, but I think I would be willing to bite the bullet. I don't know much about mods, that's why I wanted to get you guy's opinion. Holla bak.

Hey Mr. M,

Upon close inspection of the pics (have not seen it in person), I would have to agree with you. It appears that the hood has a chrome strip, and the grill stays put when the hood is up. I could be wrong, but it may be a pain in the ass to get at it. Hopefullt someone who went to the auto show may have a better idea of how to get at it.
I agree though, it defiantely needs to have a chrome grille.

Cool

yes you guys are correct the top part of the grill is connected to the hood and the hood release is on the top near the hood , and the bottom part of the grill is stationary.
