Met up with a silver WRX @ a redlight and looked @ the driver. Middle age man. The light turned green and he took off, about a half a mile down the road we hit another red. Just to fvck around and see what the thing was capable of I put it in neutrul and just revved a little bit, put it back into drive and watched. He revved back and then the light turned green. He got a real nasty launch on me. No wheel spin or burnout, just two hops and he's off! I was playing catch up and he was about 3 car lengths in front of me. We played up until 80mph then slowed down. We we're right next to each other and we went @ it again. This time we were right next to each other until the turbo spooled and he downshifted and he took off again jumping about two to three car lengths... Damn those things are fast! Oh and no I was not in a resdential area, no there wasn't much traffic, and yes I know street racing is bad .

and that middle aged driver must be an expert in manual i think...

He must be one hell of a driver! Usually I lose to my cousin's wagon 5sp 1 car from a stop and edge him out on a roll.

But my car is a little faster than yours though!

they're definately quick, not a big fan of their looks but awd and 227 hp on a 3000ish lbs car is always good.
I actually like the wagon better than the sedan.

 

Subaru All-wheel drive kicks ass WRX is one hell of a car...too bad its so ugly!

 

I've been wanting one of those lately as a "play" car. I think if you put some aftermarket headlights on it and a body kit, it would look half bad.

i would prefer save 10k and go for the TS wagon...which has the same AWD system

performance isn't that bad...gd enough for passing on hwy...
2.5liter that has 165hp...

a great deal compare to WRX...
