damn, i got pulled over for my 3rd time within 3 weeks...this time it was real shitty for me though

5% illegal tint-283$
no front plate-77$
no recon permit-77$

which brings the total up to 537$ in tickets withing the past 3 weeks 7 tickets total

It sucks to be you. I'd give you rep point if it was available. I have 20% tint on mine that that'll be the lowest I'll ever go. What does "no recon permit" means?

BTW, what were you doing driving w/o a front plate when your state prohibited it? If anything, you were asking for trouble.

when does the rule apply to say that the side rear windows can be any % you want and won't get busted for it. i see vans that have 5% on every window except the windshield, driver and passanger windows and not get busted. is that only for vans or do other vehicles apply?

 

The rule only refers to trucks, vans, SUV's etc. Cars none of the windows can be below 30%. As for the price of the tint ticket, they jus approved a new fine which is why it is so much. AsianRage= Recon is short for Reconstruction, If at any time you modify the car in anyway you are supposed to get a recon permit.jus another way for them greddy bastards to make money. Oh yea and DUDE THAT FUCKIN SUCKS!!!! where did you get pulled over by??
