Thought i'd move this to an actual thread, i just needed to vent even though i kinda got lucky....I got pulled over in Ridgewood, NJ (where the limit is 25 in the WHOLE TOWN). In the part of the town where all the younger kinds hang out (14-20). I kinda burned out from a traffic light, and chirped my tires, and spun around another intersection with a traffic light then i see an interceptor tailing me. so i went in the fastest direction towards another town so he wont have any jurisdiction. he lighted me up, and i stopped, then he called another cop in. i told him i was having a "rough night." hehe, i had my front windows down and had 5% tint on the back half, so he's like: do ya have tints on the front here?.....i pulled them up and said no, he's like, "good man". he ended up givin me a break, but i showed him my State police badge (which prolly got my out of it) and he took it away. he said to call the state police guy i know and ask him to get it back.....dammit. i didn't even have my detector with me. oh well....anyone get pulled over recently that can relate? -shawn

yea i got pulled over a little while ago too in my other car...was wierd tho cuz he said i was going 72kmh in a 50 zone...which was impossible in the stretch of street that i was in especially in a civic, to go that fast in that amount of time...-_-...also what was wierd was that he was on a motorcycle and he somehow came from the other side of the street...so he flashed his lights as he was heading towards me then pulled a u-turn and pulled me over...i dont get how he knew wut speed i was going when he was coming from the opposite way??

Me and my friends were visiting Craters of the Moon national monument in Idaho last week and she got pulled by a park ranger for doing 28 in a 15 zone. The ticket was only 30 bucks plus no points so I guess that's the plus side of getting a ticket on Federal lands. It was just kinda funny getting pulled over by a park ranger.

 

oh gotta tell her other story. She got pulled over about a month ago on I-80 near UC Davis for doing "112 mph" in a FORD ASPIRE (basically a geo metro made by Ford which doesn't make sense to me). So the trooper went back to write the ticket but it took him a long ass time. So she got out of the car and sees the trooper pissing on the side of the road. I guess the moral of the story is sometimes you get pulled cuz the cops gotta pee. :shit:

 

i know two nj state policemen, and i'm gonna talk to one of them tomorrow, if he can't get my friggin badge back i'll talk to the other one. i'm really nuts about getting it back, because it got me out of a ticket about a month or two ago. i was in my TL and got pulled over without speeding, but he noticed me not having a front plate, and my tints, then he saw my badge. when he saw it, he just nodded and told me to have a good evening......so i pretty much got out of a $70-80 ticket for no plate, and tints.

What are you thinking speeding in downtown Ridgewood!!! Well, I guess you have to learn the hard way.......BTW, I got pulled over 3 times by the same cop in Ridgewood when I was younger. One time he told me to"go home you prick". Well, some cops are just jerks but it looks like you got lucky. Stay safe man.
