Unhappy Got hit by an asshole

So i was at Minado's for some sunday sushi for about an hour. when i came out to my car, someone hit the rear driver side bumper and broked it. Sad thing was, my alarm pager didn go off... I got the viper 5901 if u guys were wondering. So now i have to pay my deductible to get this fixed. I will have pictures up when i get home, im on my iphone at the bowling alley across the street from where i ate. Is there anyhing i can do about my deductible? Any advice will be helpful. What can i do about my viper alarm? Can i make a claim with them?

sorry to hear about this - sucks too that no one saw it or reported it - any chance of a security camera catching it?

regarding the alarm - depends on who installed it and where - if it was installed by an authorized Viper installer - then I'd go after the installer and contact Viper.

G/L with insurance claim... hope it all works out.

There should be some footage, if not, go after Viper and the installer.

there was no parking lot cameras but the cop was nice enough to go visit the stores to see if any of the store's camera was pointing that direction from inside. about the viper, i bought the unit from someone else and had this store install it. they are an authorized viper seller/installer also.

yeah, you had yours on thanksgiving, not too long ago. btw which body shop did you go to? if its $450, i might as well not go thru insurance since my deductible is $500. im still ticked off about the viper.

It's not in the shop yet. I just got the estimate done on Sat. Came out to about $1400 - $250 deductible. So I'm left with about $1150. I might be taking it to the Honda body shop to get fixed. Won't have much time until finals are over

But yea, talk to the guy at the Honda shop. He should be able to work a price for you if you're paying out of pocket.

It is easy to R&R When I did my front I had the dealer let their body shop pick it up, then went & got it & installed it myself.

It was done on a claim so I went to their shop, let them do the estimate then said I'd deal with it. They cut me a check minus deductible and I did it myself under that.

It was 219 for the bumper & 260 for the ssm done by Acura.

Talk to your insco, since it was hit & run you may be able to use uninsured motorist and have no deductible.

No not the dealer, the dealer's body shop. From the dealer, if you go down 70th, take the first right and it's down there.
