I see guys looking at my car every once in a while (especially since I got my rims)... but they usually don't say anything to me.

Yesterday my fam and I were walking through the lot. There was another family going to their truck parked next to mine and as I walked up the dad was saying "... yeah that's a nice car."

I said "hi" and he asked me if it was mine. He said again that it was really nice looking and asked me about my rims. Talked a bit about lowering too.

Made my day.

Same here, but too many people compliment on her. I'm not trying to sound cocky or anything, but I'm really getting tired of them, especially because my car doesn't have anything that special.

 

i havent had a compliment on my car except from my friends but i see a lot of heads turning in my direction. People that have sat in my car love it.

 

Yeah I get compliments a lot too. I dont like to hype up the car though. When I meet someone new and the conversation turns towards car, I always just say I drive a Silver Acura. I like to keep things on the down low so that I dont seem like a cocky punk. So in their minds I must drive an integra or something. But of course once they actually see it, their mouths drop! LOL

 

The 99 and up TL seems to catch a lot of attention, and what I usually get is they think the car is worth more than what it is. Especially if you keep your car nice and clean, they are an eye magnet. The neat thing is they aren't too hot on cops' eyes either. Cops don't normally go chasing after TLs. The nice small ricer rockets are open game for them though. Especially those ones with loud pipes and thumping bass.
