So, I'm sure not all of us here are rich and can just afford whatever we want so we're looking for good deals.
Personally, I've only really been buying stuff for my tl if I find a good deal on it. So I wanted to share mine and ask about yours.

1. Tein Superstreet coilovers with about 10k miles for $350.
found the guy on acurazine, saw he was in vancouver, bc so I drove all the way up there and offered $350 for them which he took.
2. OEM full lip kit in nbp in great condition for $300.
saw the guy was trying to sell his tl-s on craigslist and offered him $300 for his lip kit which he said yes to.
3. 3000k slim mount fog HIDs for $50
one of the vendors on another forum was clearing out his HID inventory and was selling his plug and play kits for only $50 bucks and then free upgraded everyone to slim mounts.
4. escort 8500 x50 $160
when this was still top of the line and going for $400 i had a friend who worked at best buy and got me the discount.

so acurazine, what great deals have you gotten?

^A friend of mine got SS-P's for his RSX for ~$300. The seller thought they were seized or something, lol.

Except 2 sets of wheels (which I got for a good price), I have bought everything brand new. Still got them for decent prices. New 02-03 OEM front and sides in NGM for $575.

 

those are great prices. u should have spread the word about those hid kits. many of us wouldnt mind spending $50.

yeah i found this deal after only having the car for 2 weeks. i knew i had to jump on it so i borrowed some cash from my gf and called in a loan from my sister just so i could snatch them.

thats a way good deal for the lip kit. i tried so hard negotiating to get a deal on the lip kit and it just wasn't happening so when i saw a very ricey tl on craigslist i decided to hit him up.

yeah, just be happy those are really small pictures. if you saw better ones you'd see how horrible it really was. the paint was practically matte, the headlights were full of condensation, the interior was scratched to hell because he always drove around his dog. it was really sad to just see the difference in quality between mine and his when we parked next to eachother.

freal. the amount people pay for a lip kit is rediculous. you could get rims or an i/h/c/e for the same price as some pieces of poly urethane. good luck with your search and you must be in a nice area for that many people to be selling tls with lip kits...

i was shocked, i didnt expect that many people, they were all stock besides that though. i never see any TL's around driving either unless there the 3G ones

 

My cousin bought a complete LIPKIT for 120 believe it or not....and the time I took to take the complete kit off was so funny, I did it all under 10minutes lol......but I sure did screw up on buying the NAVI tell you that. It was a EBP TL-S with 43K, guy ran under a truck, the car took a serious major impact and the doors and sunroof was untouched.....talk about safety.

yes the hi flow cat give power but for the tl-p. try searching for the thread about how the cat almost doesnt do anything for the tl-s

 

dang i pmd every tl with a lipkit in the MA and CT area a few days seeing if theyd sell it to me. no luck so far. maybe i should put an offer in, i didnt specify how much id pay.
