Going price to have pollen/dust filter changed?

Getting my 30k tune-up Wednesday. I'm only asking them to change the oil, and the dust filter.

How much should I look for the dealer to charge me to change the dust/pollen filter?

And when I take things apart I always have screws left over or it does open or close back correctly. I thought I'd save myself the headache and take it in.

I'll do it for free, although here in south florida... It is not hard at all... the hardest part for me was deciding and reasuring myself that I had to CUT the plastic (which you do as per HONDA design) for about three hours. Other than that, the whole process is about oh.... say a full half hour ('cause it was the first time). Search for the DYI on the micron filter (cabin filter) and follow them to a tee...

Costed me $200 at my local Acura dealership and it took them 30 minutes to replace. I feel cheated.

Wow, If I remember correctly the replacement filters are $40 or less; so that's $160 for labor and tax! (2.5 hrs of labor!!!)

Stiletto where do you live? I might just ask Velocity Resources to change it for me while their putting my supercharger in. Maybe they'll give me a deal or add a little more to the install price.

Man, I'm loving the chrome blower! OH MY GOSH I've got to call VR and see if they have anyone near by that can polish it for me, that is beatiful. Thanks!!!!!!!!!! I play ball on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays at 5p.m. at Woodville Park. Take Monroe street all the way past the fair grounds, cross over capital circle and go about 6 miles. You'll see a sign on the right hand side. PM me for the cell digits and I can meet you and show you where.

Hey, you are too young to be out of shape!

A first time change should take about 20 minutes. since you need to snip that little piece out. We charge a half hours labor to change. Meet up with me TLS lady..Ill do it for nothing. ~. Hehe. I had to say it.

TS Lady,
Is Barnacle Bills on North Monroe still there :-) I still remember the goofy commercials on the radio for that place! I graduated from FSU in 1990 and have not been back to Tally since. One of these days I have to make it down there. I hear the campus has changed a lot.

Axe out.

Yes, I too remember that retarded advertising slogan. But as you can see it works because I still can't forget it. It is still there, we go there every now and then to karaoke. And oh boy has FSU campus changed. I remember taking a field trip there in middle school. Then eight years later going there to attend school and couldn't believe the change. I love that place that, great memories. You've gotta go back and visit your old stomping grounds.
