goint to litigation

Well guys, I am finally going to litigation with Acura now to rectify matters on my lemon. From being lied to, replacement of all tires due to the car, replacement of rotors due to the car, given the run around, being lied to by acura and thier service departments and such. I finally am at the end. I am going to tell them that I want my money back but I dont want another 2k3 tls. Any comments you guys have would be nice feedback and I'll keep you guys appraised

I am going to buy another car. But it will definitly be a non honda product. I can honestly say that I was pleased with the car up to this point but when the company treats thier customers with this amount of contempt and lack of interest in solving the problem, they couldn't build a good enough product to interest me in buying from them any time soon. Nice thing though is im part of a great group of guys like on here. I will continue to read and post after owning a acura. Just wont be owning one for a while is all. . .

Honestly if you're going to court with Acura you're better off not saying anything to anyone... especially on the boards. That will only hurt your case. They read these bulletin boards, so the less you say, the better.

It sucks that 97% of their dealers do not know the first thing about customer service. It's because of that they'll NEVER compete with BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and even Infinity.

The only comment other then that I have for you is good luck!!

That is unfortunately true. I like most of the cars they come out with, but the service side can be ridiculous. Especially when I hear some of the stories on the board of experiences. Maybe they will start to listen, but probably not!

Been there

In Ohio you have to go to arbitration first. Check your states lemon Law. I bought a Land Rover in October of 2002, had several electrical problems. I started the Lemon Law proces through the BBB, after a week LR decided to give me a brand new 03' (same color and all the same options). I month later same exact problems, started process again but wanted our money back instead of another POS (piece o crap). Long story short we had a hearing and I won. They have to pay for price, taxes, all fees, interest on loan, early loan termination fees, pay for factory accesories we bought). So I bought a TL-S and now I hear this. Good luck. Look in the owners manual and see if Acura is part of the BBB and lemon laws. Most manufacturer's are.

As stated by juniorbean, stop talking about your case here. Wait until the case has been settled, then give us an account.

There is no way anything you say here can help your case, but it could potentially hurt it.

Good luck!!!
