Well, after testing the 2002 TL and TLs and having my wife do so as well, I think we prefer the TL, as it is a smoother and quieter ride. I also like the anthrocite grey that is not available in the TLS. I have had a number of black cars and it is time for a change. The TLS accelerates faster but it is noisier. I guess I prefer the luxury of the TL to the performance of the TLs. The 2002 mags suck, but I can live with them. In Canada, the TL-s is $4000.00 more and I dont think it is worth that much more.

I will now encounter those creepy dealers to negotiate. Anyone get a good deal in Canada on leasing or is there no room for negotiating, and it comes down to negotiating the trade. Any of your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Man... I would go with the type-S in a heartbeat!!!

I mean really, I don't think the TL-S is that noisy, and besides all that it's a better car for the winter. You get VSA instead of the crappy TCS, as well as that you get 4 chaneel ABS instead of 3.

If you are getting a 2001 with huge discount, then I can understand, but between a 2002 TL-P and a type S. I say type S all da way.

Of course it's your money and I respect your decision, but there is just my $0.02

I live in Ontario as well, and I would LOVE to have VSA in snow. The TCS won't do no $hit in winter...

 

I say more power to him. Different strokes for different folks! That's why Acura makes two models for the TL.
