Going to do an 03 Front End Conversion...

Whats up guys, if you didnt know my car was badly vandalized while i was away this weekend at Daytona Beach. Im going to need a new hood, both fenders, bumper, and headlights. I am going to go through insurance and i want to get the 02-03 front end put on.

For anyone that has done this any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I did a search but what to know what you guys think about the situation and if i am going to be running into any problems doing this conversion

Thanks in advance guys. Pics of the damage are here : https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/just-got-back-daytona-beach-look-what-i-come-home-300862/

if yo'ure going through insurance, you do'nt need to buy the parts yourself rigth, since yo'ure not paying for any of it. (other than a deductible..).

well, from what i remember, you have to buy all the parts above plus, you have to cut off the bumper beam, .... ah,.. that's all i can remember. i'll try to search for more...

the bumper beam have to be raised like an inch or else the '03 bumper wont fit.

55M2G7L: i forgot to mention that in the PM i sent you. (i'll get back to you shortly with a final list)

be aware that you will have (unless you find a way around it.....) to pay for parts that insurance wont cover, like fog lights and other parts that are EXTRAs cuz they are NOT on 1999-2001s...

Also, if you're planning to have a body shop do it, check with them first. They may not want to mess with it.

i did i dont recomend it it droppes your car value to less than 50% so if you were to ever want to trade it in youe would get less than you would if you woulkd of left it alone but if youu still want to do this nowq that you knoe you need hood ,fenders, headlights, coresupport, grille, iner bumper, fogs, and btw you have to rewire your headlights to make them connvert to the 02 front its more than you think but when all ready start on it and your car at da shop. hope this helps you
