Glass and Shock Sensor

I'm reading some posts about glass and shock sensors. They sound very affordable and can be installed easily. Do you guys know where they are sold? Are they effective? Easy to do it yourself?

Are you talking about sensors for our stock alarms, or for aftermarket ones? If you can locate your alarm brain, then all you have to do is place the sensor where you want and plug it into the brain. Then again, I may make is sound simpler than it is, but I have experiene installing car alarms and such. I don't know how effective a glass break sensor is because I never had my windows broken, but I don't see why they wouldn't work. Shock sensors are a good feature to have in case somebody bumps your car or tries to jack it up to grab your rims. But it all depends on where you live and travel to and what the crime is like there. I'm sure you can search for them online, but I don't know where exactly they can be found. Anybody?
