Funny Noises in the Interior??????

To All:

When I'm driving i notice a rattling noise in the inside of my car. It doesn't sound like anything major, but it doesn't sound like something that should occur in a new car (03' TL-S). I don't think it's the seat belts hitting the side.
Also, i leave in New York City maybe this is a common thing when driving on bumpy roads.

Is anyone in New York having this problem?
Is anyone living were there are relatively smooth roads having this problem ?

Please respond!!

All responses will be appreciate..

Can you describe to us a little better where the rattle is coming from and what it sounds like? Do a search on the subject and you will probably find the answer to your question.

I had a squeaking noise while driving sometimes and I couldn't figure out where it was from, then yesterday I was driving without the seatbelt and the noise was gone. The noise came from the seatbelt bucket, I think it just needed some WD-40 or something. There was also a squeaking noise when I open my trunk, I put some WD-40 on there and it was gone.

noises i've noticed:

drivers side seatbelt buckle squeaking
sunroof rattling (from bass from stereo)

the seatbelts will flap around if you have the windows down (especially all 4)

I live in westchester, Come take a ride in my car, it will make your car feel like butter. I have to constantly spray wd-40 all over everything, just to keep it creak and rattle free.

Might be your seat belt. I have noticed some noise from it, intermittently. Try this. When you get the noise, just unbuckle the seat belt and see what happens. Alternatively, try adjusting the height of the seat belt attach at the door pillar. If all else fails, take it to the dealer and ask to drive a similar model and see what gives.

I had a wind noise problem on my driver side and the dealer replaced the "run" channel, which is the portion the window is sealed by and that problem has diminished somewhat.
