First race was against a debadged 323i, I was cruising at 80 when I approach him. He had TV's in his car and he looks all cool and sh!t. Suddenly he cuts across 2 lanes and fly past me, so I give chase. I was going 90 at that time and only stayed in 4th gear but I still pull on him and we shut it down at 120. Then we approached some traffic, when the road opened up, BMW immediately cut to the right lane and try to pass me, I downshifted into 3rd at 80 and pulled 3 cars on him and stayed that way till we shut it down at 120.

Second race was against a new CL500. I was cruising at 80 and suddenly these bright as hell xenon headlights come up behind me and flew past me, he must have been going 100+ but he had to break hard to avoid hitting traffic in front of him. I followed him and when traffic opened up he guns it, I follow but was losing ground slowly, by 120 he had maybe 2 cars on me. Then this rich sucker continue to gun it and break hard and look like an idiot. He doesn't even have plates yet, I guess rich people don't care to break in their 120K toys.

Then a civic hatchback with Altezza and exhaust decides to join the fun and pace me. I was doing 90 and he kept looking at me. So without having to downshift to 3rd, i slowly pull away from him while staying in 4th. I guess all he had was the exhaust.

It was fun, I usually don't get so many races in one night.
And please don't preach how dangerous racing is, there were hardly any traffic on a 4 lane freeway.

By the way, what do you have your VTEC set at?

 

I have the V-AFC set at HI-LO 4100 and LO-HI 4300 or the other way around, I forgot. I want to get it dyno tuned soon but don't have the time yet.

 

Know what I noticed last night? I was toying with some car, don't remember what it was but when I tried to downshift from 4th to 3rd going 80 MPH, I was denied!! So I slowed down to 78 MPH and BAM! 3rd.

thephantom: try letting off the gas while you downshift, you should be able to downshift to 3rd while you are at 90!

Yeah, and last night I killed a last gen Maxima. He burned his tires when the light turned green. I didn't even have to launch to kill him. I think his is an automatic though.

 

There is no way we could come close to pulling on a CL500 with the 339ft/lbs of torque its 5.0L V8 produces...Nice try though, and yes get tha SC, maybe then youll start your career as a street fighter...Shyne
