Should i do the smart thing and just buy the crank pulley instead of droppin close to 4 bills on a whole set??? Give me your

anything besides the main crank pulley is wasteful money.
spend it on an intake heat block spacer kit!!

Our supporting/sponsoring vender Excelerate is the man on those parts!

If you are going to DIY- spend 20 bucks now on kragen.com and get the
`Honda pulley removal tool`
It holds the pulley still and makes it a 2 minute job, instead of 10 hours of cursing and removing skin from hand

Also need realllllly long bar to tighten- its 181 foot pounds of torque
In comparison- wheel lugs are 80- after some goob with an air gun puts them on--130 foot pounds, and you know what thats like to remove---

Use GATES belt with the new pulley or you can expect noises

Many private honda/acura/import shops will do the whole job for 30-45 minutes of labor charge
If they know what they are doing it takes 20 minutes

Stock diameter pulleys use stock size belts. Just call up your local parts store and tell them you want stock belts in the Gates brand.

You guys said expect noise... what kind of noise if I don't replace my belts?

And I'm a noob at this, so what would even be the difference between the smaller and stock diameter pulleys? Any performance gains from the difference?

There should be no noise if you use the Gates belts and have proper belt tension.

Underdrive (smaller in diamter) pulleys underdrive the accessories slightly to gain a couple more hp. Stock size pulleys do not underdrive and are designed for cars with larger stereos.

Yeah, I think the stock size pulley is going to be winner for me. I will be pulling close to over 3.5kw of continuous power in the next week or two.
