Post Front windshield....

I don't know about everyone else, but my front windshield seems to pick up crap fast.
Everytime I clean my window and go for a drive, it's time to clean it again.
I have owned over 10 different cars, and I can't recall another car collecting sh** so fast on the window. Even my motorcycle helmet wasn't this bad!
I'm thinking about using some RainX, but I doubt that it will help

I hear you! Try using Bon Ami. Wet the windshield, sprinkle the powder on, and sponge it on in circles until a paste develops. I tried it this weekend, and it took every bit of film off of the windshield. Hopefully it will prevent anything from sticking to it again...

As long as the windsheild is in the *front*, it'll keep on collecting crap.

BTW, compare the surface area of your bike helmet and the TL's windshield. I'd be scared your helmet collected same amount of crap as the windshield does.

I guess it's just Murphys Law; no way to avoid it.

I've looked EVERYWHERE for Bon Ami and can't find it. Any suggestions? I live in Staten Island, NY.

I know...lots of crap on mine too. Also does anyone else hate the angle of the rear window for cleaning purposes. I can never seem to get mine completely streak free and clean

Try AJAX... Bon Ami is almost the same as AJAX.

After washing my windshield with soap and water, I use windex. It cleans it up pretty good. The problem I have is getting the wax spots off the windshield from the car soap that contains wax.

actually, rainX does sometimes help if the coat is fresh enough. I had a nice clean windshield and after travelling thru the turnpike in my area, I collected zounds of bug carcasses. THEN, I got some nice hard rain and I returned to a mostly clean windshield .. it was only slight marks of the bugs left. A few flicks of the windshield wiper did the rest. Of course you wont get that nice showroom clean but hey, I'd say it was MARKED improvement over the nite before moral? rainX + hard rain = clean windshield
