A lot of ppl either flip the bracket or fabricate a new one so the license plate is below the bumper.

I used to drive my car w/o front license plate for about 3 months in Vancouver BC...
But after I heard something bad about it, I put it back on and now it sits on the right side of my bumper like others here...

Grow a set and take it off. Ive never had one on the front of my cars here and its illegal too. Keep the bracket and plate in the trunk, you get pulled over make up a story that someone backed into you in a parkinglot and broke it off and you have one ordered or you havent gotten time to run and buy a new one. (i broke my bracket to look like it actually was)

It's almost that simple. Flip the holder and mark new holes so they align with the existing holes in the bumper. Drill new holes in the holder and have a beer. (Also don't switch the last two steps.)

For the tickets, I've gotten two while my car was parked. Both cities had just installed the red light traffic cameras so they sent the meter maids out to ticket front plates. Otherwise, I haven't had problems with being pulled over exclusively for not having front plates.

That is brilliant fsttyms1. Here in Quebec, Canada we only require a rear plate...

Definitely, if I don't take it off then I may just flip the bracket like alpswd did. That even looks better than the way it is right now.

I live in WI and I always had mine off on my Integra and the more I modded the car (even though the car was extremely subtle) I got a lot of trouble from the police, but the TL is a different breed and *knock on wood* they don't seem to care too much about me not having it on there. Like fsttyms1 said, give it a swing.

Ditto for Cali. I think the ticket is $25 without fixing it, and $10 if you get a meter maid to "observe the correction."

Its more that that here but we get a chance to fix it without having to pay a fine. I bet if you were to show that yours was broken you wouldnt have to pay a fine either

Oklahoma doesnt require a front plate either, but now Im in Texas and they do here...I had to buy the holder thing for about $25. I was going to put it on, but it does look much better w/o it. I may just let it ride and see how it goes.

imo, i think the car looks better with the plate flipped as opposed to no plate at all, gives it a more aggressive look

Or this, which just bend the plate and screw using the same bumper holes.

No front license plate looks best, but I won't risk it to get pull over and get more ticket for other stuffs.
