I was driving down Leavitt Street one block north of Northern Blvd in Queens on Friday and saw a noble green 99-01 TL on the side of the road that looked like it had been a stolen vehicle. It was missing headlights, tailllights, wheels, and windows. The hood and trunk were open as well so who knows what else they took. I started to get worried since this is only a few miles from my home. I usually leave my car at the bottom of my driveway or on the street but I think I'll start parking it at the top now. Anyway, just thought I'd share this story with you guys.

you found a stolen tl and didnt steal anything off it? or drove it home? you damn fool

 

 

did you call the police? was it in front of somebody's house? maybe they were replacing a bunch of stuff, probably not, but still man I would have called the cops.

 

Having lived in NY for 5 years...a stripped out car on the side of the road come a dime a dozen. Would have been at the bottom of the cops' priorities.

I used to get a kick out of driving over a bridge during low tide and seeing how many stripped and torched cars I could see in the water.

 

Not to be rude, but if the cops catch you messing with the stolen car, they will arrest you. I know, my friend is an ex Lt. in the 115 Pt. So, DON"T ever mess with a stolen car.
