Hello!

My dad just recently bought an Eternal Blue 02 TL-P, while driving home from work on the highway a rock or something hit his left fog lens. The light still works, but the lens is cracked. He called the local Acura dealership (Superior Acura of Cincinnati) and they said its 80 bucks for the install and parts, vs. 35 bucks for the lens. Is this something we can do? I thought so but looking at the lens there aren’t any screws to take the whole unit out, so does that mean that we have to take off the bumper? Thanks!

 

You can search many previous posts regarding the removal of the fogs. But I'll explain real quick how I did it like many others. Look underneath the bumper up to where you can see the fog light housing from behind the bumper. You should see a a bolt I think 10mm aiming straight down at you which you can reach with a socket and extension. Once you get that bolt out, you can sort of snake your hand to give the fogs a push out towards the front of the car, if I remember right the inner side of the fogs(side next to license plate) pops out first and the outer sides are hinged in(by hinged I don't mean literally connected, just goes in first, you get the idea)
I'm pretty sure you guy's can do it yourselves.
