ok well i was in the blockbuster parking lot starting up the car when it kinda started then died down!...when i turned the key again...it took a little longer and i could hear the engin choke a bit..them booya..it was fine ....
i remember people here were saying that they had trouble starting their cars or people have their cars die....my question...what could the problem be??

Same thing (but not as long to start) happened to me last week. Just took a bit to get her going. Weird...

 

First check battery. I mean of course you guy did it already.

Second, make sure your Acura key doesn't have any thing that interfere with the computer chip that locate inside the key. It happens on my Maxmia's keys. The dealer locate the problem is from the Mobile speedpass. The speedpass some how interfere with the computer chip that in the key. And after the key get reprogrammed. It works perfectly.

It could be if you top off when you fill up your gas. I know that it messes with your ignition. Thats why you shouldn't top off. If you don't top offf then I have no idea.

 

Happens once in awhile to me.
Best thing to do is to just put the key in and leave it in for 1-3 seconds int the fisrt position before turning ignition all the way on.

 

Hey Memout. It was me who posted the topic because my car didnt start. It was raining and it cranked the first time and didnt start. The second time it didnt start either and I cranked for about 5 seconds or so. The third time, it started verryyyyy slowly. It felt like it wasnt going to kick though. I am taking my car in on wednesday and Ill post what they say.

The problem happened to me twice. I thought i didn't hold the key in the start position long enough. Is there something wrong with the starter???
