How difficult is it to change out the tails? How long should it take to swap them out for an amateur?

VERY easy! you need to remove:

* four plastic screws (use a flathead screw driver)
* 2 knobs used for cargo net
* 6 nuts on each light
* 1 screw from left taillight for some module or something

then you have to swap bulbs and/or harnesses and put everything back in.

All you need is a socket set, a phillips screw driver and a flathead screw driver. Takes an amatuer probably about 45 minutes MAX.

One note, the socket that you use is a 8mm. Took me a while to find one in the whole toolbox for one that one socket. Total time for me was 45 min, about 20 min of that was looking for that damn socket!

Oh am make sure you empty the trunk Before you start, unlike me, trying to pull back the panel with crap in the way..
