finally picked up my TL

finally picked up my TL

i picked up my TL last friday, took it to the tracks as well...i ran a 16.6...is that normal for a 99 TL?

anywho, i know i know i will post them up soon

here are all my mods so far
i just put on my inspire badges and H emblem
full oem lip kit
03 TL-S rims
ground controls (3.5 inch drop)
5% tint

With the JDM Badges anything is possible

Seriously though, that time about right with those mods. Maybe a touch on the high side if anything.

IMO, a 16.6 is a pretty slow time even for a 99 TL. It should run somewhere between 15.5-16 bone stock. A 00-03 TL should run between 15-15.5 and a TL-S should be in the high 14s.

BTW, how many miles do you have, what was the condition of the track, temperature, humidity, altitude, etc...? All of these can be a factor in your time.

holy crap bro, you need a camber kit! your tires will wear out prematurely because they are running like this / \ i also think its bad for the car itself... (something clearify please).

and i think your time can be a bit better... say... 16.0-16.2?

your right about tempereature and humidity and stuff... i dont know exactly what they were but when i was on the CL forums ppl said in hawaii the times are a little slower because of the weather, my reaction time was .7*** thats not too bad

oh yea and 54,000 miles on the car

we like it slammed in hawaii!!! i got no Toe on the car, slight camber, but not too bad...its more Toe that wears the tires
