Finally got my White Diamond Pearl TL Type S
It's sooooo pretty.
WDP with parchment. VIN 10303.
Thanks for everyone's help. It took two shots to get the right car but I finally took delivery of it last night.
If anyone is in the Raleigh, NC area visit with Mike Mitchell at Leith Acura in Cary. He is low key and helpful. He hung with me for over a year while I was looking for a new car. Tell him Scott K. sent you.
BTW, the original WDP w/o Navi with 160+ miles is still sitting on the dealers lot.

Seems like a lot of new TL-S owners this week on the forum. I got mine Saturday, 04/21. Got Satin Silver/Ebony non-nav and it is a definite improvement over the '99 3.2TL non-nav I traded in on it. I was shocked at the difference in ride, power, transmission, hell even the CD's load smoother and eject better.
I like the WDP also but I live in South Florida and wear shorts a lot and it is warm here a lot so I felt that the Parchment interior would look filthy in a year or so and that's why I went with the ebony interior. With the ebony as long as you take care of the leather, ie. creme them periodically, the seats won't look dirty and will keep their color. I had beige leather in my '97 Maxima SE and it was to big a pain, so big I actually put seat covers over the front seats to minimize the dirt getting ground into the leather.
Hey, I may be a lazy bum who can't keep beige/parchment leather looking good but I admit it. So, I take the easy way out, I got an black/ebony interior.

IMAX,
Honesty is the breath of Godliness! The fact of your recognizing clmatic/regional drawbacks is certainly more than I could do. My respects on your perspicaticy/wisdom. Besides, I think my interior(both personally and the car) would suffer enormously in the FLA clime.
