finally Got my tl-s

Wow, I'm in love with this ride. Today picked up my Agean blue Tl-s with navi and spoiler and loving it. Such a smooth quick, smooth car. haven't played with the navi yet, but it sure looks good. Came with version 2.05, is that the new one?

One thing I noticed, the navigation screen is kinda lagging when i press with my finger. Is there an option to setup it up again, or is it factory setup?

Congrat's on the new ride!! Awesome feeling, huh?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the latest version of the NAVI, and I experience a slight delay from time to time. It's not consistent, so I wouldn't worry about it. Some other folks might give some more technical advice though!

Enjoy the ride!!

I'm not sure you'll get a consistent answer to that one! I've seen a bunch of posts about it and it seems like there are a lot of different thoughts on the issue. And I think it also depends on your driving habits and the environment in which you drive.

Personally, I've got 3700 miles on mine, but I think I'll wait until around 5000. Try doing a search on it and you'll find a bunch of input.

good luck!

I've been sticking to Acura's "severe" schedule for oil changes on the TL...but I guess you could change your oil at shorter intervals.

Thumbs up

Congrats... It's funny b/c we have the same name (Denis) and the same color car..... you're not in NY are you??

As for the oil, the owner's manual (and my dealer) both recommended 3750 for the first oil change. I got around to doing it at 4200 miles and used Mobil1 5w-30 Synthetic with a Purolator PureOne filter. From here I'll be changing it every 5k or so.

Good luck with the car!! If you want to see some pics of mine, check the link in the sig!!

Welcome to the family.
To find other people from Philly, try the Meets Forum, and see who went to meets in the Philly area in the past. Also, you may want to add Philly to your area under your name (in the User cp are).
Take it easy for the first 1,000 miles, if you can.
