FINALLY got my car back!!!

Damn i missed driving my TL.... gone since end of January... Picked it up today, but i still got some minor problems to fix. Headlights done beam evenly, ABS and TCS light is on (pretty bad accident) Alignment pulls to the right a lil, one of my belts are wearing out already. I think the pulley was hit in the accident so its not straight. I got to bring it to the dealer on the 20th, cuz they packed from the recent flood here in houston. I cant wait till all this is fixed.... then i can install my Apex'i coilovers O yeah, my hood wasnt painted that well.... might get dealer to repaint it, any idea how much that costs??

I had a personal shop do the repairs because i couldnt afford to claim it on my insurance. Thing is, they are a really badass bodyshop, but not that great in mechanical work.... That is why im letting acura finish the job. *SiGh* Hope my TCS isnt broken.... them yellow lights are annoying...

*ABS light on...
*TCS light on...
*replace Pulley...
*Alignment...
*re-paint the hood...

hummm.....you still have long way to go buddy....
I'll say TCS & ABS are the major.....
Good luck on your car....really...let us know how it turns out...

Oh...about the repainting the hood....
If you just have to repaint the hood(no damage..) I'll say around $350~$400....depends on what color...(2 stage or 3 stage)
Or if you need to blend to the both fenders(for exact color match), I'll say $600~$650....
That's what I charge for my customer....just wanted to give you an idea....

Not to be a jerk or anything, but I would never let anyone other than an Acura approved repairer repair this vehicle. Look @ the cash involved in purchasing this vehicle. The repairs as per your post appear serious.

Why are you not having insurance pay. Thats why you have insurance, to have repairs done properly by proper facilities. Now it sounds that you will never be happy with your car and if that shop screwed up your car, and wont do anymore to fix up their scewups, it will be tough to get it repaired properly.

If you have no insurance or were doing something illegal I understand, and I am sorry to being so harsh.

If you have a lien holder on your car they are entitled to 30 days of coverage even though you are canceled. So what am I saying you ask?? Your insurance company sends you a letter specifying the date of cancellation, however your lienholder receives a letter saying their coverage on the vehicle is cancelled 30 days later. If your vehicle was wrecked during these periods you or them maybe able to file a claim.

Yesh!!!! Everything is now fixed...... my wearing of the belt problem was because the bolt for the alternator was stripped inside the block. This shop really TAXXED my ass to rethread it, they (said) they had to lift the engine and ****. That's why it costed 300. Not goin to dat shop again.... then i went back to this other shop that used to work on my prelude. He fixed my ABS and TCS in just 5 minutes!! It was just a damn abs fuse. O well, im happy.... When i clear my headlights again, im goin to set the beam even. Then imma slamm dat hoe next month, i gotsta enjoy the nice stock ride for a lil bit more. :p
