a few lighting questions
a few lighting questions
ok i have a 2002 tls. currently i have HIDXTRA 6000k headlights.
i want to get matching fogs. so i should just get HIDXTRA 6000k that are bulb 9006 right? should i get the whole kit that includes the ballasts too? or jsut the bulb?
and i want to change the main lights, ie dome and map, to white LED. i have 100 white led's laying around im not using, can i rig those to work instead of buying those particular bulbs?
using those same led's i have, could i do puddle lights? basically id like to use the led's i have becuase there just sitting here. but its not worth buying new led's to me

Get from the same company so it'll match up better. Get a complete HID kit in 9006 size bulb that includes ballasts.
Interior LEDs, don't ghetto rig it. Buy the appropriate size socket and just slap it in.
For puddle lights, you can use those LEDs that you are referring to.
Good luck.

for looks get the same color rating of 6000K= kelvin scale
a 9006 is standard 12v bulb not an hid light
Would need a kit if you want brightness
but be warned!!!
4300 was stock color- with 6000 you lose white light in front of the car on the road.
You do pick up abilty to see road lines and signs from greater distance- just be aware.
3000k is yellow for actual fog use
