How much would it be approx. to replace and paint a front right fender? Would this be cheaper than to take out a dent and repaint it? I know that the colors have to be matched up, and the scratch is all the way down to the metal. Thx for any input.

 

How'd you get the scratch?

 

Probably like 300-400 to paint, depending on the body shop.

The car was in the garage, and a bike hook fell off the wall making the bike hit the car...and it tore it up bad. Thank god it only hit the fender..but it's a bad scratch.

ouch! that sucks. I fear the same thing, so I chose the middle spot in our 3car garage.
