Fan shroud

So i had to get a new radiator and upon installing it i noticed it made some noise. I took it into a mechanic and he said it was because of the fan shroud rubbing against the power steering. Any fix to this ?

I didn't install it but i watched my friend do it. I think we messed up on the mounts or something because i looked at the wear marks and about a 1/4" of the tube has been worn through.

To clear up the confusion going on here, Take a picture of the fan and post it here.
Sounds to me like it wasn't installed correctly

If you're sure that ya had the correct rad to replace the old one with, then apparently it's not fully seated and needs to be re-positioned. Maybe one of the rubber isolators at the bottom got misplaced or lost. Recheck the rad's installation.
