i have 49, 600 miles on my 2002TLS. i am also covered under the transmission warrenty till 100K. Do you think i should extend my warrenty to 100K and what do you estimate the price to be?

 

I am also interested in getting ext. warranty for my 2002 TLS. The main reason is to protect the navigation system which will definetely cost a lot of $$$ to repair.

Last time I checked it was around $1200 but different dealer would quote you different price.

I got quoted $1600+ for the extentions of the current bumper - bumper warranty. I personally think its not worth that much for 100k/7yrs. If something breaks, I doubt its going for more then $1600 and you can always trade the car in.

I just bought my TL-S and also purchased the 6 year/130000 extended warantee from Acura for $1200.00 CAN. It gives me peace of mind and it is a GREAT selling feature when you go to sell you car down the road. Infact, you will probably get dollar for dollar (or close) added to the price of your car just by having a transferable extended waranty (if you sell privately that is)
