Extended warranty?

How does the extended warranty work with scheduled services? If you have done all the scheduled services on your own or skipped one does it effect the extended warranty? Also, does doing your own oil change effect the EW?

Thanks in advance!

None of the above affect your warranty UNLESS they can be proven to has caused whatever problem you're seeking relief of. If your engine locks us because the oil is as thick as tar, or there's no oil, obviously the car's bene neglected and the EW wont cover it. But you're not required to submit "evidence" just because you want something fixed. I do most of my own maintenance, and I've never had an issue with AcuraCare. And for the $2500 they swindled me for, I had better NOT!

i got it and i hate it!everytime i have to change something on my car (stabilizer bushings, links)
i have to dish out the first 100$(deductible)and parts and labour always cost less than 100$,so my advise to you....don't get it!unless you have major problems with engine or tranny!(wich are already covered)

Waht do you mean don'y get it unless you have trasnny problems? If you wait until then you're already screwed. My AcuraCare warranty is $0 deductible so I just drop it off, get a band new loaner and I'm done. $100 deductible would make me think too much about whether to use the warranty, which is the reason you got it, to use whenever a problem pops up.

well if you don't have a deductible then go for it ,but so far everything i've repaired on my car i had to dish out cash cause of my deductible, the only way i can save money is to wait till i have a whole bunch of repairs to do and do them all at once.
