hey guys,

can you guys suggest a brand and part number that will match the comptech exhaust tips exactly? I did some research and it seems that the tips on the comptech are 3.5" angle cut with a rolled edge. Anywhere on the internet I can order these exact tips, but from a different manufacturer?

go to Canadian Tire (yes, the good ol' CT) They have Vibrant brand SS exhaust tips on both bolt on and weld-on types. I picked mine up after I bought the car. 3" SS oval angle-cut with rolled edges for $50.00 for the pair (Half-price back then). Then painted the back half of the tip with black BBQ paint to match the muffler. Looks somewhat like a CLK 500. I still wished I got the 3.5" but these ones were on sale.

If you want my friend is selling his comptech exhaust. Its only the muffler not the whole piping from the headers. They will bolt directly onto the existing piping. Let me know if you are interested and I will ask how much he wants for it..
