Newbe question......What inlet size on the exhaust tips do I need for 03 tl-s?
I want to put some chrome tips on the factory pipes.

 

The most popular choice is 3A racing which are

inlet : 2 1/2 inches
Outlet : 3 1/2 inch round
Length : 7 inches

They are bolt on however so the actual inlet may be 2 inches.

I'd go with bolt on instead of weld on so you can swap them out and sell them when you sell the car.

 

so should I go with 2 inch or 2 1/2 inch inlet?

 

You need the 2 1/2" inlet so they will fit on the OEM cans.

 

You might want to check these out http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/I...D:100000276326 My buddy and I put these on and they fill out just nice (if you have a body kit that is). If you don't have a body kit then these would look quite odd.
