Post Exhaust

I was looking at the parts page and I saw so many pictures of exhaust. I was wondering what was the best exhaust system to get for the performance? I was looking for an exhaust with a lot of noise. But also which is the best for the money.
Thanks

If you want a lot of noise, DON'T get the Comptech or the Mugen. The reason we got the Comptech is it fits the car, smooth sounds. Same with bang for the buck. They're not cheap.

Why would you want loud on a TL? After all it's not an IS300 or a Civic.

He has a great point! I have Greddy's and they're loud as shit! Unfortunately, my father-in-law cleaned out my garage and threw away my old exhaust, springs, headers, but left the intake box and stock tire/rims. Anyone know where I can buy used parst for cheap? I want my old exhausts back.

AC, probablly someone on this site would be willing to get rid of their OEM parts. But, you should hold off until you start selling parts off your car and try to work a trade or something.

Oh yea as for what the topic is about...I hear the Tanabe is pretty loud too...Also, most cat-back systems are going to be louder than most axle back systems.

Also, if you are set on one of the axle back system, you can remove the resonator to increase the sound of the exaust system.

If you want a loud one then definitely go with Tanabe Hyper Medallion, it's the loudest one out there!

Man if you want noise just remove the cat and run a straight pipe back. That should give you plenty of noise.

Thats weird, I had a 97 Nissan 240SX and put a tanabe g-power catback on it. It wasnt loud at all, barely more noise than stock.

I got a flowmaster exaust for my cl-s after my friend tommyamrani got his for his TL. His was 212 becasue he got a 3 chamber but mine was 180 cause i got a 2 chamber. My car makes more noise than his and he is now jealous of my sound. I like it alot and its makes the car sound great and as soon as i add an intake to it, it will make it even bettter.

G-Power isn't loud.
He's talking about the Hyper Medallion.

Comptech is axle back.
Other ones like Greddy and Tanabe are cat backs.
IMHO, cat backs make a tiny bit more hp gain.
