just curious if anyone has this/ noticed this. when im wot in 1st gear and shift to second right before the limiter my engine sqeals. its a short sqeal. it doesnt sound like a tire it sounds more like a belt. but i have been noticing this for a while and dont have any other issues with my belts or anything else?

ive heard that a few times on mine. Especially when the shift is really firm/quick. If it only does that once and awhile and only under WOT while shifting there i wouldnt worry about it. If the belt starts making noise or it does it mor often then id look into a new belt and tensioner

and same it only does it under hard shift and no other time. its been doing it since i bought the car with 27k miles on it.
i just thought that i would ask. i have always figured it just because im shifting hard in high RPM's.

thanks

Sounds like the belts. Have them changed since they are pretty old...not so much worn but time probably has them cracked through all the seasons your TL has been through.

Just replace them though. They are almost 8 years old.

You'll come back 20 pounds lighter or heavier depending on how much you plan on working out over there. Plus, it's not like you can fuck whatever you want over there. The most you'll get is skin rash from sexing up the sand.

ya i will take my sexual frustration out on the weights.
i worked out alot last time i was over there but i had a break in one of the bones in my arm so i could not do too much it got really bad in the end when i was moving up in the weights. 40lb curls killed the bones but they are better now. i dont gain or loose weight. just get cut.
