Engine mounts 03 tl

Hey, need some advice on the mounts. one of my mounts is blown, looks like the front one. This is second time this happened to me... made me not trust the OEM as much..

What you guys think about these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200323570314

They offer lifetime replacement warranty + perfect OEM fit...

Thinking about grabing these, just need second opinion.

Cool

I think the front mount is electronic. The 3 of ebay looks to be the regular mounts.

The front mount is around 100$ alone.

I got quoted 330$ for all 5 OEM shipped with 1 year warranty. But then i think a shop will take about the same $ to install them :/
Don't have the right spot nor tool to do it myself

Once on ebay do look OEM but description says their "upgraded", also OEM only give u a year warranty, these say lifetime. Probably some cath with it

Thanks for reply

There arent any better mounts for our car. Them failing is just a design flaw. Your not alone, we ALL have them go. They average 50k. Typically the front and side are the only ones to go. Use this site

look for any cracks in the side and front mount. the rear is harder to tell. if your getting all 3 then why not replace all 3.

I'm also think might as well replace all 3,
but then what about the 2 trany mounts? Might as well replace all 5? lol , i think replacing trany mounts would be kinda waste of $ . do those really go bad?

Only reason i'm even mentioning them is because i had a trany swap and i'm just wordering if they didn't mess anything up

Oh trust me i could have as well said nothing.. about after 8-9 months of driving, my power steering fluid started leaking, I went to a shop and the guy told me who ever installed the trany is an idiot and did not put the fluid tube in it's brackets, so eventually it started brushing against the engine belt (sorry do not know what it's called, pulley?) and made a hole in the tube...

I just have the feeling these shops don't really care about the car.. Maybe if i pull up on a lambo they will lol

Hey guys just want to share my experience with this.

1. Ordered mounts shortly after my last post. They were sent USPS.

2. Week later , nothing. Contacting seller. Mounts got lost in the mail.

3. Seller offered replacement or refund. I called Replacement. I push for UPS or FedEx delivery.. few days later seller says mounts will be shipped from the dealer directly and they usualy use ups or fedex, and they will let me know ship info when available.

4. A day or so after that, I contact them again, saying i still did not get any shipping info. Seller replies he just called dealer asking for shipping info. abit later he replies, " dealer shipped the mounts to us instead of shipping them to you directly." , He says he will ship the mounts tommorow morning, which would be Saturday the 18th.

5. I just recived mounts from usps. Packed in regular usps box, barely holding together because there is no padding anywhere around, just some paper stuck inbetween.. I mean i know it's metal parts and all but com'on...

No shit first package got lost in mail, the way they packed it, it prob got riped and everything fell out... Talk about quality business... Whole time I had to check up on where my stuff is? I really hope these mounts wont crap out, because i really don't want to deal with their "lifetime warranty" replacement.

Altho I will say that the seller didn't "ignore" me for most part and did respornd to my emails with in a day or two. Also he was no rude in this replies or anything like that. But shesh that should be the very basic part of any bussines...

Just checked paypal,
Money sent: Mar. 31, 2009
Item Recived: April 23, 2009

How did those 3 mounts fit in that box? Magic.

Thanks for reading
