engine died 3x in the past month

either when i was stopped at a red light or a stop sign or going at around 5 mph, the engine has died on me 3x. once it was uphill at a traffic light, all of a sudden the car died and started to role back and i was slamming on the brakes but the brake didn't work. i got it under control and luckily there was nobody behind me. what the hell is going on. anybody have or had this problem? this car has brought me nothing but grief. the car is 03 TLS with 8k on it.

I've had it happen coming to a stop, but I think it was the AC compressor that does it, if its engaged as I come to a stop you can see the RPMS fall pretty dang low for a second. I have been using heat, etc without running the AC compressor and I haven't had it happen again.

I don't think it has anything to do with the AC compressor. I have the same problem with the car where the engine would just die for no reason AC on or off.

I've brought it to the dealer many many times and they can't seem to replicate the problem. But each time they diagnose and reset the ecu, the problem would go away for a few months.

This is no compressor issue. Happens to me as well. Most times, it's between 50 and 65 deg F outside so A/C is not on. It's quite the pisser. I'm taking it in in a couple of weeks for the dealer to look at it. I can't make it happen on demand, that's the worst part.
