Engine cover push pin

I was reinstalling the smaller front engine cover this past weekend and the push pin on the left end of it popped out and flew to who knows where. Most likely in my lawn and then mowed over yesterday if that's the case. Do I have to order a complete new cover for 32 bucks? I'm not seeing that pin listed as a part by itself when I search. Any help is appreciated.

Go to the help isle in any auto parts store, they sell plastic push pins in packs.

They wont be exactly the same in most cases but they will be close.

as said above- any parts store carries a section of replacement plastic pins, door handles and knobs etc,,one maker is called HELP

some even have bins with every type connector known to car builders

I run without any of the engine covers now--lets heat escape a little better
The side plenums of the intake manifold polish up nice!

metal polish and a buffer on drill makes fast work of the plenums dullness

You can remove the plenums from manifold to clean inside the runners-
no, seafoam doesnt get this area very well- ok to reuse the gaskets

on the external plenum surface, test a small area with rag-polish- and hand power= to get an idea of the results

there are a few places some black spray paint would blend in well
