i wanted to take out the emblems in the back and put something else in like my last name. so in the back it had a BIG A then small letters in A C U R A. i was wondering if you guys knew a place i can order it from. cause i see some acura TL's in here with INSPIRE on the back and i wanted to change mine.

you can find some emblems at heeltoeauto or A&J racing, or if you are lucky, some used ones at the black market.

that is the honda (jdm) version of the 2nd gen TL...its called a honda inspire/saber over there

lol yeah i am my last name starts with an A so ima leave the BIG A and then put my last name under it. if it was a different letter i wouldnt do it. i mean come on people put inspire. i might as well make mine different and put my last name.

 

Some people put that on because "Inspire" is the JDM version of the TL.

 

i was suprised no one bought it up before that. its like everyone read the title and assumed they wanted the jdm emblems.

to the original post, putting your name in would look tacky but its up to you

 

I thought about doing this a while ago when I drove a 98 Prelude -- "LUDE-A-KRIS"

 

its held on by the adhesive material and the two holes. if replacing with the genuine Honda H emblem off the Inspire thats where you will line it up with.

 

o ok well atleast i know what INSPIRE is now, but yeah im still going to put my last name if i dont like how it looks then ill take it off. ill show you a pic of how it looks like in the end.

 

Your last name? Really? Why? To each his own, but..... your last name? Why not just get your last name in a banner and put it across your back window? On the car with actual emblems is gonna look horrible.

 

You could do it like a lot of the hispanics that live here and get a big decal of your name in caligraphy and put it on your back windshield. Probably be cheaper and easier to get a hold of, no less tacky though...but hey, its your car.

 

lol well we'll see how it is after i put my last name on there. im trying to look for the acutal acura letters. but if it does loook bad then i wont do it ill just leave it blank and just leave the big A. and i wont do the banner thing or the last name on the back window, i dont like that. but yeah it is my car so we'll see how it looks like soon. ill post pics up when i do.
