Angry Eibach

I ordered a set of four springs of eibach springs for my 02 tl-s. I waited 8 days for them to arrive. Once I put on the front i realized that something is wrong. I tried to put on the rears but they dont fit around the "grove" where the spring is suppose to sit. I called eibach and they asked for the number on the springs. Turns out that i received 03+ accord springs. I told them I want the right ones shipped out asap. They said its on back order and about 1.5-2 weeks out. My car has been on jack stands for 2 weeks. Plus i need alignment. My question is:

what is the harm if the spring doesnt sit down in its position?

is there any way i can modify this thing to fit because i just cannot wait 2 more weeks .

I chose eibach more for comfort but on craigslist there is a set of 4 neuspeed springs for $60 and i am thinking of just getting them and returning these back to eibach, but what are the reviews for them?

Did YOU order the wrong springs or they packed the wrong springs for you? If YOU ordered them wrong then its your fault honestly and have no one else to blame but yourself. Why dont you just ride on stock springs until the new springs come in...? No need for your car to be on jacks for 2 weeks.

Just put the stock ones back on, and everything will be back to normal.

Definitely wait for the right springs. The 02 TL and 02 Accord share the same suspension and the springs are the same. However, the 03 Accord springs are completely different in terms of fitment, length, spring rate, etcetera.

I apologize you went through all this hassle. Keep in mind, we do not sell direct here at Eibach and a third party had to be involved to get you your springs. Also, the springs are in stock for the 02 TL. Talk to the shop that sold you the springs.
