These are the same badges I had outside the car. I asked the dealer to debadge me and they ended up giving me the pieces unscathed. They are attached using the very same glue stuff that was put on the car of the trunk. Didn't add anything to it. I'm suprised on how well the glue stays up.

Isn't that dangerous?? I mean, during a violent impact that thing could just turn into a flying missle..... It does look really sweet though!!

Theoratically, it shouldn't be a problem as the Air-Bag pops up and towards the passenger, that area should be un-touched by Air-Bag.BTW, does Acura sells just "Type-S" badge, or they always come as "3.2TL Type S"??

The only thing I could think of that you could buy from the dealer is the gold package. I'm not even sure if the 3.2TL chrome badge is for sale.

Different strokes for different folks. You really have to see it in person to trully decide. You're the first person to respond about interior badging in a negative way. Some of my friends who heard about it criticized it at first, but it wasnt until they acually stepped inside did they change their minds. Can't really please everybody, but as long as the driver's happy right?

I still don't understand your point in all of this. Not once have I asked your opinion on the subject. Someone asked what I did with my badge after I debadged my car, and I showed them the pic. Not once did I ask for your opinion.
