VTEC, are you talking about reprogramming your ECU, via VTEC controller?

The 2000 TL have some problem with the ECU computer. Perhaps that's because they changed the intaker and switched to 5 speed trany.

Anyhow, sometimes you have some unburn gas in your eninge and it cause trouble start, and sometimes the engine check light will pop up because of that!

The engine check light will also pop up bacuase of the gas cap, or just simply computer bug & misfire.

Acura Canada, and two dealers I went to told me that they noticed that there are such kinda problems with the 2000 TL. So, it's there and I am sure about it! It's just whether Acura is gonna do something about it by update their ECU, or they will just ignore it and fix the problem on the 2002?!?!

BTW they replaced my ECU computer once already. It's with the software!!! nothing we can do about it at this point!!!

Thanks NSXNEXT! I had some fun with my digicam last weekend. It was actually nice in Seattle for a hot second! Plus last time ppl made fun of the ghetto where I live. Bastards.

I've never heard of any problem with the 2000 ECU...?
