Yes, gas caps are the same color...unless yours was specially made.
Just show up at his shop...daing, if i got a price like that i'd drive 100miles to save all that money.

bit off topic
-----------------------------
heh, i bought an '86 corolla sport SR5 fastback for $100 this saturday. The guy calls me about the deal and i tell him i'm showing up at his house in 5days and warned him to have the papers ready...i drove 300mi up and 300mi down just to get the car...i have a $900 offer as of this morning, but i'm not selling...yet!

i wanted to start a thread about my "new" car but was afraid i'tll get moved to the pics section were nobody can appreciate my drifting project Ae86!!

this is the car, but not my house (frove from Boca Raton to Jacksonville and back in 1 day)

I got a WW kit. I got it preped, primed, and painted for $150. I installed it myself. It's a pretty easy job, but it is much harder than installing the oem kit. The oem kit attaches to all the oem mounting with no double side tape. The WW kit needs to be drilled in from the fender well and the bottom. Took me about an hour with a friend. The most annoying part was those stupid brackets for the side skirts. Can you tell me where you got the WW wing and how much?

you mean $1500?...just the paint alone needed for the kit costs around $200...then it takes like 5hours of hardcore prepping and priming...unless the guys are mexicans and work for $0.10 a day then i'll believe you.

Search google and type "wings west flush mount spoiler" and there's like 5sites in that first page that sell ww spoilers.

no way you paid for that bro...i dont wanna start a flame war on you, but recheck those recipts. heh, unless its spray paint then i might believe you.

just the actual paint alone (not painting, not labor...just paint) costs around $100...for them and like $300+ to you. then its all the labor on priming (~5-7hr+), 2hours of labor for painting and 1 for installing

just make up a more reasonable price

alrt...i finally found a body shop that offers me sweet deal

i was told that $400 include installation and $230 for painted only.

He say that another option is $600 include installation and $460 for painted only.
this option comes with better paint they say.

the cheaper option is really pulling me and i decided to do the installation myself.

But will the paint quality really make a huge difference?? what do you guys think??

o really, will i need to buy this or the shop im getting it painted will do this ?

also would it be good if i had my car cleaned and waxed before installation? i notice that the kit covers some parts of the car and if the parts that is being covered will the paint get messed up or damaged over the years? dont know if you know what i mean..
