DIY: Intake Runner/ Lower Manifold Install

This is for any body swapping intake runner/lower manifold, I swapped to ported type s runners.
Tools needed:
Basic tools
Basic sockets: 10, 12, 14 deep and short sockets along with exstensions
wrenches: ^same

1.
You have to remove intake (i have a aftermarket AEM intake)

2.
Remove Throttle body

3.
Remove top plate of intake manifold ( it was disgusting on the inside, it needed to be clean but I have a new one)

4.
remove manifold and tape off runners so nothing falls down.

5.
remove fuel rails out of the way, I also disconnected the power steering pump and belt and slid it out of the way for more room.

6.
unbolt the old runners and start bolting the new ones back on.

7.
Both runners back on and tape them again so nothing falls down them.

8.

reattach fuel rails, power steering pump, and belts. remember to remove the tape before you put the manifold back on.

9.
reattach the manifold and top plate.

10.
reattach throttle body

11.
reattach intake back onto the car

12. pull backup/clock light fuse on passenger side dash for a couple of minutes to reset ecu.

13. start it up and enjoy, its taken about a week for the computer to readjust and felt faster every time I drove the car.

I ran into a few problems at the end because of the 09 intake manifold so I had to reuse pictures but you get the idea. Not a difficult job but not something I would do if you've never done any work on a car. I'm more of a visual person than reading instructions that's why most of it is pictures. If you have any other questions just let me know and i should be able to answer them.

Thanks I'll do another one when I reinstall the 09 intake manifold with more pictures so it makes more sense.

Sweet how bad we're they messed up and when you swap them just make sure it's ported out to match the gasket.

Update: anybody swapping these into a tl-p, there are two vacuum ports that are different sizes that need to be purchased because the ones from the tl p are too small. THe new part numbers you need are 36202-P8E-A01 x2 and 91301-P8E-A00 x2.
