Duel LEDs security warning indicator (pics)

First I replaced the LED with a ultra bright red LED from Agilent and drilled a hole next to it for another ultra red LED from LEDtronic.com. At night you can spot the flashing warning LED as far a 50 feet. Very nice!

You are Khmer right? I am. To do this you need to remove the door panel. Once the door panel is removed you will see that the LED security. Just removed it and find the LED that you like and solder it in there.

I used super cool white LEDs for the gauges. Each gauge has 30 to 40 LEDs. Removing the instrument cluster is easy but you need to know what you are doing otherwhile you scratch you dash. Believe me you will! To remove the instrument cluster here is what you should do:
1. Use masking tape to cover the area that you think it may get scratch during removing the dash panel.
2. Lower your steering column all the way down.
3. Remove the tow screws loated above the steering column.
4. Pull the dash panel toward you as hard as you can with your hand!
5. Once the dash panel is lose disconnect all those connectors behind the dash panel. Try to take out the dash panel and put it a side.
6. Now the easy part. Now you can see the instrument cluster is held by for screws. Once you remove these screw disconnect the cable on the back of it.
7. That it. Now you can do whatever you want with your instrument cluster. If you don't have basic electronic skill I would not try to open the instrument cluster apart! Good luck!

i did, it's kind of a biatch to hollow out the factory housing, but it's worth it. i'll send you pics as soon as my ride gets out of the shop.

You need some resistors and breadboard. Solder one 370 ohms resistor in series with two LEDs on a breadboard. Try to stuff these LEDs and resistors as many as you can behind each gauge. You need to cut instrument cluster internal plastic to make it possible. I warn you this project is easy! You can smoke your entire instrument cluster if are not careful.
