Drove An 05 TL

We had to take our 2000 TL in for a transmission recall check and they gave my wife an 05 TL as the loaner. She drove it home last night and I got to drive it back this morning. All I can say is "wow". I am very impressed. I thought my 2000 had some get up and go but the 05, impressive. I did think that my 2000 rode a bit smoother than the 05. Not sure why, maybe just the difference in tire brand or size or a combination. Anyway, once I decide to get a new vehicle, the TL will always be on my short list. For now, I am taking my TL in to get a brand new paint job, I ordered RonJon Servos, which arrived last week but, one of them was the wrong size, so another week wait, and I am shopping for a new indash screen. Bottom line, "I Love My Acura".

yea that is true the 2nd gen is smoother. But it handles like a boat. I just wish I had better handling.

The 05 does handle much better than my 2nd gen. I am hoping my new RonJon 17" Servos will help that a bit. The 05 just seems like an awesome luxury sports sedan, heavy on the sports. The 2nd gen seems like a luxury sports sedan, heavier on the luxury. Just my .02.

I agree.

Try driving an Impala if you want to experience a boat.

I got the Falken Ziex 512 17 x7 for my RonJon Servos. Would have already had them put on but they sent me 3 17's and one 18. So, now I have to wait yet another week to try them. I am hoping the Falken will ride as good as my Toyo 16's that are on stock now.

When I put my stock wheels and tires on for the winter. It feels like the car is wondering. When I put the 18 wheels and Nittos tires. It feels as if it’s in rails.
